Okay enough complaining!
My favorite moment SO FAR was last night. Santa Claus was on the corner on our local volunteer fire department's fire truck. I SCREAMED LIKE A LUNATIC AND PUSHED MY COUSINS OUT OF THE WAY!! LOL I was like SANTA IS HERE COME QUICK! All of the little kids ran to the window and they were SCREAMING and Santa stopped the truck and waved. It was such a magical moment that it brought tears to my eyes the kids were in complete AWE they couldn't believe it!! Just looking at them was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
And then I helped the little ones put Jesus in the Nativity and I said Happy Birthday Jesus and the little one sang' Happy Birthday YOU jesus' it was SO CUTE
And another one, FH opening up guitar hero - WOW he was so not expecting it LOL it was hysterical he got all excited then tried to cover it up and 'act cool' but it was too late we all saw it

the 2 best moments were seeing my neice in her xmas outfit yesterday, then seeing my nephew in his today. last year they didn't exist and now they're here and FH and i have the rest of our lives to watch them grow up...and our families were saying how one day they'd have cousins to play with, and FH looked at me and smiled.
it was a great holiday.

i gave FH an early wedding gift as a stocking stuffer. he opened the bag and it was a pack of socks. he said 'what's this?' so i replied 'these are for you, incase you get cold feet between now and the wedding' FILs almost peed themselves laughing

When we walked into Dave's parents' house and were greeted with a HUGE hug from our ring bearer (his Godson) in FULL elf gear & then we saw the bubble boy....he was in FULL Santa gear - complete with eyeglasses. I almost got teary seeing how precious he looked!

watching my family sing karoke in at my cousins house last night - it was the most hysterical thing you have even seen! but for a minute I just stood back and watched them and it was just so great to see everyone having such a good time, singing their hearts out (off key lol) without a care in the world.
Christmas day was just really special for some reason this year for me - it was a smaller crowd then usual but in my opinion i think it was the best Christmas yet!

I was at mass with FH and his family Christmas Eve and it was the children's pageant where they act out the nativity as a part of the mass and they sing all carols as the hymns.......the priest started with a talk to the kids and parents about how most little kids are afraid of Santa at first because he's a stranger and kids don't like strangers. Then he went on to say that once Santa becomes a known face or even a friend, they no longer fear him. He then tied it into the belief that one has in God and how when one doesn't know enough about him that there is a fear/apprehension towards getting to know him, so we must all believe and learn about him to become closer to him...it was really nice.
So, the kids to the nativity scene, we pray and listen to the gospel and all of a sudden the lights dimmed and down the aisle came Santa!!! Since it was a mass with tons of kids at it, you had to hear the gasping of these children! Noone said a word and Santa walked down the aisle, went to the nativity at the altar and knelt, prayed and kissed 'baby Jesus' (who was actually a real baby!!!) and walked out.....there were tears everywhere and I was so chocked up looking at the kids faces and feeling that built up emotion....it was really the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed!
I WISH I could have been at this mass.

this is an awesome thread! My favorite was my fh's neice opening her gifts! she is 9 and its probably the last year that she will believe in santa & she was just soooo excited!

This Christmas was wonderful !! My favorite moment is summed up in this picture.
We had such a good time Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning, my FH and Dad were out like a light!
They had to catch a nap before we ate Christmas dinner. It was so cute and funny!

well on x-mas eve we went to church with fh's family thena fter went to dinner which we were there for 3 hours lol but after we all went to fh's house and used the 2nd living room that is NEVER used all year round just on x-mas eve lol but anyways we all sat around by the tree drinking hanging out and talking until we opened presents but while we were opening presents and and hanging out fh and i had a real nice moment...he was like a kid and all night he had this look in his eyes that is hard to even explain, he was all happy and was very sweet and said such nice things...but its been a while since ive seen that innocence about him so it felt great seeing it
so the best moment was seeing fh like that again, i couldn't ask for a better x-mas gift than that

The best was xmas day, going to church with my family, having a big xmas dinner (my parents cooked everything and anything) and playing bingo and deal or no deal. It was great!!!!!! I want xmas backkkkkkkkkkkk
Ohh an another thing: telling my nephew he only got 2 gifts and that we didnt have anymore gifts to give him but my sis and I tricked him bec we were hiding his gifts and when we brought them out, the look on his face and the excitement PRICELESS!!!!!

When we got home from my sisters on Christmas night, I put on some christmas music and my FH and I slow danced to a song with nothing but the christmas tree lights on. This will definitely become a christmas tradition!

my fave moment was when we got home christmas eve at 1am we started opeing our gifts from each other like 2 little kids we couldn't wait till the morning lol
