I babysat, but my first 'real' job was at Cheap Johns. I too was sexually harrassed, and my mother went in and smacked the guy in the face!!!! The a$$ got transferred to another location.
I was a Camp Counselor at the YMCA too! I started there on my 14th Birthday.

I was a babysitter very young too...I think I was 12....
My first real job was at the chinese take out place in Sag Harbor, I worked there from when I was 15 until I was 18....I loved being there because I knew almost everyone who came int! Plus I got paid decently!

This is a ctually a really funny story!!!
My first job was at a day camp in a area near my house and I got fired after nine days for talking to another counselorto much ( a guy of course).But the funny thing is thats the first time I met my FH. He was friends with the GUY ( who i later dated UGHHH) and i was mere 14 years old and he was 18 ( what a difference) i think all we said was hello and who knew that 13 yrs later we would be getting married!!!
P.S. The gy who i was talking to and I dated will prolly be at our wedding, life is very starnge sometimes!!

Besides babysitting, I used to work at the mall as one of those annoying people with the clipboard who asked you if you wanted to do a survey! It was a fun job because a few of my other friends worked with me, and we'd basically just roam the mall all day and make up surveys.

I was eleven. It was a 'Weekender' paper route- my parents basically drove me aruond to toss them on people's driveways.

Babysitting, but first real job was Greenpoint Savings Bank in Flushing in the Mortgage Dept. I was 16 and they were paying me good money... I stayed there all through college.

My first job ever was at Carvel. I lasted ONE DAY. My boss was SO mean! All I did was mop up and wash dishes. When I was finally finished, she put me in her car and drove me to another Carvel where I mopped the floor and washed the dishes.
The next day I called her up and quit.

I worked for American Express. It was a special program in my HS when I was a senior where I went to work one week and school one week. It was great. I wound up being with the company for 5 years.
