post your florist

Hi girls...with my spring break coming up quick (but not fast enough), I want to tackle flowers over my break... recommend your florist

I am going to hit James Cress because I have heard they also offer up lighting....who else???

Oh...and how long does an appointment usually take so I know how much time I need at each one..if I can get a few appointments done in one day that would be great!

Spitz and Peck- we were there for a long time because we were meeting with the owner and he was very thorough- showing pictures and chatting.

I'm using Burton's, they gave the best price. I would say it took about a half hour, nothing crazy. We also met with James Cress, in November, and I kid you not they will not stop calling me. Ugh.

Re: post your florist

Burtons... they have excellent prices.. the lady who worked with us (whose name I don't recall) also worked for another very popular florist in the area and says she could price out what we want for Burtons and the other florist (though she didn't... was just saying she still remembers how) and that Burtons has much better prices.

I kinda want lighting too - I didn't ask about it... I guess I can figure it out at some point.

Burtons charges not by what kind of flower you want, but by what arrangement you want (high cp, low cp, how many bo-ks etc)
So you can pick out what ever flower/color you want as long as it's in season for the same price!!

I also went to a wedding last weekend and the flowers were pretty decent... by Burtons

note: I'm not a girly girl and therefore don't really know much about flowers or particularly like them ;)

Edited for spelling :P
