post your waist friendly snacks...

post your waist friendly snacks...

so yesterday i had a moment of clarity...

I was in bed, it was 11pm and im gnawing away on a nerds rope that i got at cvs for 50% off. In fact i bought 10 of them because 49 cents is a fantastic deal that cant not be taken advantage of...so then i move on to this

thats the big one.....the one that comes in its own giant box. im totally disgusted with myself as i type this.

I do this on a semi-regular-almost every-night-who-the F-am-I-kidding-every-night-basis. maybe not to that extent but i almost always have a snack around 9-10pm. I am programmed to do this

So after my little candy binge i lay down in bed...we watch a movie and afterwards i lay awake and start to freak the hell out. It may be due to the fact that i am hopped up and 1000000 grams of sugar or it might have been me actually realizing that not only will i be a toothless wonder in a matter of a year or less but i will have probably gained like a million pounds.

So with that said.....i need to clean up my act. What are some snacks that you ladies nosh on that are still kind of exciting and delicious.

Right now im snacking on TJ's Edamame Hummus with pumpernickel pretzel sticks. not the best option but still better than eating the entire willy wonka chocolate factory.

btw im allergic to fruit skins....so yea....im a total weirdo destined for failure.

i second the pudding. another secret weapon is 60 calorie hot chocolate (WITH marshmallows). when im craving salt i eat chips and salsa, which is suprisingly low in calories. if im craving crunchy, apples or celery and peanut butter.

Edamame is a big one with me. Also, sugar free ice pops and/or jello.

Hard-boiled egg whites - 3 for 50 calories.
3 dark hershey kisses (if you suck on them, it's like a whole candy bar)

I don't eat anything remotely healthy, so I can't really help. But I do love hummus and pita and tzaziki.

I am a huge snack eater! I have been on weight watchers for a week and I have a ton of snacks recommendations. Its my 'junk food' I eat one a day and only have the serving size. I try to save it for night time and snack on fruit during the day.

any 100 calorie packs. There are cookies, choc covered pretzels, snack mix, chocolate.. endless options!
100 calorie slim bear ice cream, any weight watcher ice creams, they have cups, pops, sandwiches.
skinny cow ice cream.
Fat free chocolate pudding cups with fat free whipped cream
Trader joes chocolate cat cookies, I sometimes put peanut butter on them.
Any baked chips. and pretzels.

For baked sweets i have a ton of recipes. Quick ones are 1 can pumpkin and any cake mix.
any cake mix and 1 can diet soda and 2 egg whites.
no pudge brownie mix made with fat free sour cream.

Hope this helps!
