Postage

Of course, invites weighting 2 ounces or less require 1 64 cent stamp. How much do mine weight? 2.1 ounces Oh well, at least now I KNOW they will have enough postage since I had to stick another 39 cent stamp on there

I would but after spending all that $$$ I wanted the stamps to look pretty.

On a happy note, my dad upon seeing the finished invites said 'Those are nice stamps'.

They are pocketfolds with ribbons tied around - and I have an inner and outer envelope - plus three inserts (plus rsvp envelope). SO I guess that is alot - oh well - they look kind of cute with the purple and green stamps. I am just glad they are mailed

5x7 - from notfromabox.com. I sent one without an inner envelope (long story) and it was only 1.7 ounces - that inner envelope adds alot

This is the outside (bad pic)

So we double wrapped the ribbon - which adds more.

Well I think the extra postage is worth it because they are gorgeous! And I am a fan of the inner envelope.

Thanks! Me too - HAD to do the inner envelope. Oh well - it was an extra $39 for postage - but at least I have the peace of mind that none of them will be returned for insufficient postage

Totally. And $39 in the grand scheme of things is nothing when it comes to wedding planning!
