postage...

my invites require $0.87 postage....do they even sell this???

i am going to cry - i am too neat to have 10 different denomination stamps on the front of my invite.

If you're 'too neat' then I suggest just spending the extra money and putting 2 of the special purple wedding ones on... if you're going with stamps.

Not sure what other ways to get that postage.

Have you gone and spoken to someone that works there? Maybe they could give you some ideas I'm sure you're not the 1st they've seen with an odd postage amount.

You can do custom postage... it's more expensive but then you'll only have one stamp on your invite.

According to usps.com they have one $0.87 stamp but it's not weddingish....

have a look here: http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductCategoryDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10152&categoryId=11828&beginIndex=0&pageSize=10000

also, it's not the prettiest option, but you can go to one of the machines that they have in p.o. lobbies now where you can mail a package. know the one i mean? it also allows you to buy stamps of whatever denomenation you need. so you can buy X number of 87 cent stamps. the only thing is that they are black and white (kind like the black & white notebooks used in school). not the prettiest but it would keep you down to one stamp.

Mine were .87 also..and the lady wanted to use the green wedding ones w/ a butterfly i was like absolutly not. I got the dove (they are yellow and blue) and i put 3 of them on the invitation. It wasnt bad at all

The same thing is happening to me at the moment. They do have an $0.87 stamp but it is a kind of ugly black and white photo of a scientist or something. I do not want to use the green wedding stamp and the brown butterfly $.24 stamp because they are different sizes. I am going to use one green wedding stamp, and one of the purple ones. It winds up being over $1 but I'd rather that than most of my other alternatives.

I was going to suggest this as well. Or you can get the custom postage, but that will also run you a little more than $ .87.

Theres always this really pretty 0.84 cents stamp...with a 3 cents stamp with it. Its only 2 stamps on the envelope...it won't look bad at all.

USPS .84 cent stamp

Here's what it looks like:

Re: postage...

I had to add another stamp...so I had 2 of them. The post office told me 67 was fine when they were weighed. I hand canceled them and stamped them and the next morning my mailman left me a note to go back to the post office because postage wasn't sufficient. I had to sit there and go through each one and add another stamp. I swear I was twitching Don't stress hun just a detail that no one but you will notice.
