i was in the post office the other day and is the new 2 oz rate 58 and not 63 cents??
trying to get my stamps in order!
those are not out yet, correct?

yes - if you buy 2 oz. stamps now, they are 58 cents.

Pro - yes the new 2 oz stamp is 58 cent
Con - the 58 cent stamp is not available until July (such BS!)
You can either buy a 41 cent stamp and a 17 cent stampe - or just still go with the 63 cent stamp which is what I did. So aggravating though!

I called the USPS help line last week and I was told the new wedding stamps would be available on JUNE 27th!

yea, u can still use the old .63 cent ones. So are the wedding stamps that weigh .41 cents coming out June 27 too?

gotta love it... why change the rate and not have a stamp available... silly.. and annoying!

This is just horrible that the wedding stamps don't come out till June 27th!! Do they have any other nicer stamps we can use if we have to do it before then????

Yeah it's so irritating- I'm using the old .63 wedding ones. But they only sell packs of 20's and I only needed 86...so I got extra 39 cent wedding stamps on top of that and will combine the final 8 invites.

The .63 wedding stamp is still available. My post office didn't have any left, so I just went with the Grand Canyon stamp, which was very pretty.
Check if your PO has that wedding stamp, if not and you really want it i know it's available online. Otherwise see what the PO has - in the end none of the guests really care what stamp is on the envelope, it is just getting ripped open IMO

Amazing how they make the change with no new stamps availablespecially doing it during wedding season. They knew that they would be making money because instead of putting two stamps to equal 58 cents that most people would just go for the 63 cents one giving them 5 cents extra.
