OK so when I had everything weighed for the invitations to find out postage they said that for the rsvp's in the envelope for them to be mailed back to me that they qualified for the post card amount which is .33 cents. I have already gotten back 10 rsvp's which were fine. My cousin just called me from New Jersey and said that her post office is saying that it should be .46 cents? I hope I don't end up not getting rsvp's back because of this now because most people don't put their return addresses on the rsvp's. Getting worried now! Since I have already received 10 rsvp's back obviously the .33 cent amount is correct but I don't know if maybe it is different in different states? What did everyone put as their postage for their rsvp's?

Postage problem for RSVP!
I used a regular forever stamp for my RSVP envelopes (3 5/8 x 5 1/8). I didn't even ask the post office. I just assumed it would need a .46 stamp.

i plan to just use a forever stamp just to be safe.. but to piggy back off your question..did anyone have to send invites to another country....i need to send them to canada which is fine i am going to use a global international stamp but what about the the RSVP's ---if i put on a stamp from the US will the Canadian post mail it? i dont know how that works if it technically isnt a canadian stamp?

Postage problem for RSVP!
I have no idea. I only sent invitations to people in Arizona, California, Florida, New Jersey, Conneticut and Virginia. Just called the post office and now they are saying since its in an envelope it should have been .46 yet when the girl at the post office measured it I had it in the darn envelope! I'm so mad now. Yet I still don't understand how 10 of them already came back and they were fine without the additional .13. Can't wait for this wedding to be over already. Things like this annoy me to no end.

We sent invitations to our family in the Caribbean. We just had them RSVP through our wedding website or email because we weren't sure what their postage rules were and we didn't want them to have to pay for postage.

I'm sending to Germany and the UK. I plan to bring those to the PO and ask them what I need to do for each piece.

Some may have fell through the cracks. Unfortunately, it sounds like you will have to make some phone calls after your RSVP date.

I just had this issue with my Canadian RSVP cards. The rsvp cards that your Canadian guests needs to mail back to you should have a Canadian stamp not a USA stamp. hope this helps :)

Postage problem for RSVP!
To Flynn14: Just got back from the post office. They told me the international RSVPs have to go without postage because the US Post Office doesn't know the rates of other countries.
