Hi Ladies, So i keep hearing the post office is complaining that they're broke... blah blah blah... but does anyone know if the rates are going up any time soon? I'm worried because I have to send out my invites soon.

I just heard this on the news- They may raise rates- not sure yet and also thinking of stopping mail delivery on Saturday

ugh...they annoy me ... not sure what to do now. Actually my response day is like 2 weeks before mothers day so if my guests haven't mailed their responses in by then, they can add the extra postage.

Definitely use the 'Forever' stamps on your RSVPs. Rates went up between when I mailed mine out and our RSVP date last year but having the forever stamps meant not having to worry about it.
We actually were invited to a friend's wedding in CA on our wedding date but they didn't use those stamps on their RSVP envelopes so I had to put an extra stamp on.

i just called the usps b/c i bought 100 44 cent stamps and i started to freak out.. they said there is no planned increase

yup thats what i heard too, as far as i know nothing is decided yet
