Am I the only one who finds the idea of semi-nude engagment photos a little odd? There is a thread about it on BHB . They have examples on it on the photographers website. And even though they are beautiful, tasteful pictures, it still strikes me as strange....
I know I'm a pretty modest person, but am I a total prude too?!?
I woudln't have the guts, maybe thats why!
Just curious as to other peoples reactions.

We actually went to them & saw those pictures but ended up picking a different photographer. I think if you are comfortable with yourself & have a good body, why not? But trust me, nobody would be interested in seeing semi-nude photos of me & Dave

OK here are my thoughts: for ME it's a waste.
This is something that I would never show anyone and keep for just me and FH...
Fine-- but what the heck would I do with them after FH and I looked at them??

I agree...what's the point of just having them for FH/DH? What's he gonna do with it?

I actually did not select a photographer because they showed a semi-nude picture when I was meeting with them ... it just wasn't me.

Light bulb just went off. I finally figured out what you were talking about. I saw those shots on the website and the thread.
I really loved the photographs, but I would not call it an engagement shot and certainly wouldn't distribute them to my friends and family. JMO!

I looked at them and it looks tasteful to me. I would do them if I had the body too. I don't think they are meant to shared with anybody besides each other. I don't see a big deal in doing them. DO YOU KNOW IF THEY ARE REALLY NUDE

not my style....although FH would love it if it was!!!
I have to agree that it's not really appropriate for an engagement shot, IMO....but then again, we didn't get engagement pictures taken at all!!

I think the people who are in the photo's look amazing. I doubt they're completely nude. I see the photo's as art. It's a cool thing.

i think if i had the shape i might do them with fh, but they definately wouldnt be called engagement pics, they would be pics for just the two of us to see....
i always thought engagement pics you share with your family and friends, and i wouldnt share with my family half nude pics, no matter how tastefully done
