I wanted to say when I write Congrats or something it is to be nice, not for just another post.
The same goes for me...although I became a bigger poster post-wedding, I only respond if I truly mean it or know the person enough so that they will get my ...although when there are like 0 replies and 1000 views I feel bad and will do an occasional 'congrats'.
We all have way too much time on our hands...to post, to analyze posts...to critique...my job will fire me soon damnit!
bwhahahahaha
Thanks L - so glad to know I humor you!
And can I mention again how gorgeous your e-party pics are?
And I totally missed the fact that this was about one person...I'm pretty slow. But I agree with L - it's OK to be catty...some people make me wonder a lot.
thanks sasha! FH and I are flying in next week to take epics in central park w/duet...i cant wait!!!
as far as being catty, i try to adhere to the saying 'if you aint got something nice to say, dont say it' but sometimes i cant resist!!

I've already got 3000, so this post is purely informative. I write a lot of those responses, but only if I mean it. I also find that my posting goes up and down with my mood. So when I'm not in a particularly social mood or I'm tired, I lurk more than I actually post.
i feel the same way...

I have a terrible rule with my friends 'It's not mean if it's funny' It's totally not true but it makes us feel a little better!

Re: Postings - do you ever get the feeling...
i find that I have no mental thesaurus and all of my posts come out 'thats pretty' or 'beautiful' or 'nice!'......I have often posted this and then thought 'man someone is going to think that I'm just trying to up my posts. But its genuine. Every now and then I too will post so that someone has a reply to their post....when I first started posting I put up a few that came back with like 1 or no replies. It was discouraging at first, and with the rash of newbies that are on here lately I just want them to feel welcome.
