Postpone wedding for PLAYOFFS????

Yankee could postpone wedding b/c of playoffs!!!

Here's another reason us Mets fans are hoping the Yanks don't make the playoffs!!!

well, even before he was pulled up to the yankees, what person in their right mind would book a wedding during baseball season when they are marrying a baseball player. That is like marrying an accountant in March --

I read that yesterday. Wow, I mean on one hand it's your wedding and it's all already planned. But then again, it's the Yankees, and it's the playoffs. I mean, this could be a once in a lifetime chance for this guy.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing. If you're marrying a baseball player, you have to be prepared for things like this...you never know.

He scheduled it for AFTER the minor league baseball season, and BEFORE his financee's basketball season... it was the only time possible to schedule it... he didn't expect to be pitching for the Yanks in the playoffs.

It makes sense, if that is the case....

Makes sense, and hey, if duty calls him to the mound, they'll just have to suck it up and think of an alternative. Stinks, but it is what is. He would be supportive of her if situations were reversed I'm sure. It just blows to have to reschedule everything if he ends up being needed, detail-wise.
