postponing :(

i hate this, but we're postponing the wedding, it might be just two months, or few months, but unfortunately it'll be better than arguing over concerns about what if other expenses come up and we cant afford it, like right now FH needs oral surgery that will cost a couple of thousand since he has no dental, and i cant put him under mine unless hes a spouse already.

and even though after calucating we should have around 40K by next year its not a 100% definite and he doesnt want to risk it. so FH's parents still will pay for half the hall if we decide to keep the hall, we are now deciding if we really want to do the whole big reception or not. but while we're deciding he says we should cancel our date and then see how next couple months go, because then canceling we dont have to make any additional payments for time being.

Aww girl... don't worry... everything happens for a reason... I think it's a bummer that you need to postpone, but as my wise grandfather alwayss says, 'Good things come to those who wait!'

Sorry to hear that, but September or December, it doesn't matter, what will matter more is that you two will be married!!

If it helps any, I pay for my own dental and it covers a lot. It's called Healthplex / Dentcare. I pay about $150 a year, and the basics are free and everything else is discounted by at least 30-40%. I saved about $600 on my root canal. Something for him to look into instead of paying full price!!!

That and nowadays a lot of jobs do not cover dental plans anymore, so paying for it myself has been a lot better!
