After long hard consideration, me and my fh have decided to postpone the wedding. I'm truly heartbroken by this decision but right now, it's what's best for our situation. We're hoping for the same weekend of 2010, so really only a years difference..which i can handle. It will give us some time to get an apartment and really save up to have the wedding we truly want to have. I really want to stick around for you guys but alas..will be moving my way to the 2010 boards. I wish you all lots of luck and happiness! Love, Ashley
i got a hold of my reception hall and our date is now May 29th 2010...so it's still memorial day weekend just a year later. And what's still scary...it's only a year and a half away..it's gonna flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy now i just have to contact my other vendors and make sure they're still available..but on a good note..at least those deposits are done!
Congratulations on your new date! I love Memorial Day weekend for weddings (obviously since I picked it for mine haha). Your wedding is going to be amazing and you'll be soooo relieved that you waited!

thanks for all the good luck wishes! Our photog is still available as well...so now it's just our dj and florist that we have to call. But so far so good!
