I don't think it's fair to jump on confused1234 for asking this question - sometimes it does seem, a general post by one person gets more response than from another. But, I don't think it's intentional - it's probably just based on our moods or who's on the boards at that time.

We recently started doing this and we do not see everything. Only what is brought to our attention or what we do find ourselves.

I think this actually goes to show why some posts aren't responded to...they just can't all be read. Depending on when you post your post can fly right by without responses because so many other people are putting up their own posts. That's also why people have to bump their posts...they just aren't seen.

I agree with other people because I also try to mostly respond only if I have something to offer.

also, on the threads that go on for pages... they usually involve conversations back and forth... not jsut like 500 people jumping on a bandwagon. look at this thread.. it went on for pages... but it was people talking back and forth... not a conversation by the whole LIW community based on WHO the original poster was
