So, I've never had stainless steel pots before. I feel like the bottoms have gotten sort of discolored... more like mottled looking? I've cleaned and soaked them, and there is nothing left on the bottom - it almost looks like the food I've cooked in them has just left a mark in the steel. Is this possible??

yup possible.
I sometimes use stainless steel cleaner (like softscrub ish) on my pots. Then super clean them afterwards to be sure all the chemicals are off. But it makes them sparkle again!

Ok, I feel better. Its like ghosts of rice left in the bottom of my pot... so upsetting.

try mixing water and vinigar ( I still have the papers that came with mine) problem is I don't have nay vinegar

Haha, I threw out that pot actually! Now that I have my new set I won't leave them out on the stove! I can't have kittens sleeping in them.

and is that ANOTHER b-pic..damnn..everytime I sign on its a new one..still hot though so I will continue to hate you
but i have the same problemo and i use those scrubby brillo things..doesnt work THAT great

we bought this stuff at BB&B its called The Bullet ot something like that...anyways it works..and baking soda works too.
