POTD - Friday May 23rd

Today FH and I are going to do some recon for Tuxes, so this question is inspired by that!

I said 'every detail will either picked or approved by me.' I have to admit I'm a little anal, but FH also admits that he is totally clueless as to fashion (I've been teaching him so he's getting better). We're doing it all together so we can make sure he gets something we both like.

i put my brother (GM) in charge of wardrobe bc he actually has great taste. FH can't be trusted. I told him the gist of what i want, and final decisions are approved by me

heh - i told him i wanted him in a tan suit (not a tux). he was totally cool with that. and amongst him and the guys i'm sure they'll pick a great suit!

we've discussed some of my ideas and he likes them..so we're going with dark tan suits, sage green tie, ivory shirt..now its just a matter of going for them...but that probably wont happen til sometime next year

We're going to decide on the the vest color together but other than that he's going to pick it he's a guy what do I know about tuxes? We're going together though, he wouldn't want to do it without me there anyway.

he keeps telling me he wants lime green.
i hate him sometimes lol

FH has great taste so i trust him. He's actually been so anxious about picking out tuxes lol so i know he will do a great job. i will come along tho 'just to look'

i think we are doing suits caause its in the summer and he will sweat to death in a tux! But I've shown him ideas and he gives his input

FH isn't the most suave when it comes to fashion, so I will definitely be very involved in picking out the tuxes. I wanted him to wear a brown tux but he refuses, so I will at least let him have that.

Well FH & I have gone to the Tux place & were checking out colors & vest prints matching ties etc. So im in the middle because FH wants my help and Im happy to do so! lol But really as longas teh color scheme is good im ok with anything.

We have a difference of opinion on this… I keep telling FH that I want to be there when he picks it out and he keeps telling me that it’s his choice.

I've talked to FH about this and a few other people. He's ok with me being there, but people don't seem to get that it's pretty common for the bride to be involved. You can use this poll as leverage now!

Well FH is having a custom tux made for him because he wants to keep it forever..how cute!!
So I will be involved in the designing and fitting but its really up to him.

How do people feel about buying a tux? Is it worth it?
