On a whim one of my bm and I looked at some dresses today. Which one of these do you like for a summer wedding. All are tea length except the blue one one. Thanks!
I really like the second one. I wanted something similar to that for my girls, but we opted for long dresses since the wedding is black tie.

I like the third one. Who makes it?

Re: potential BM dresses
The first two are Alfred Angelo and the second two are Jim Hjelm. I think I am leaning toward the tea length Jim Hjelm ones.
Thanks ladies!

Re: potential BM dresses
I voted for #2!
I also went with tea length dresses, all the girls look great in it, and they really appreciated it because they know they can wear the dress again... Actually, we ordered them today.
Anyway, this is the one I went with. I am going with Platinum (this is silver) and a black sash. That way, they can wear black shoes, and no one has to get shoes dyed.
I loved that dress also. I did not see it today, but I wasn't really looking for it either. How did it look on? Does it flatter different shapes? Thanks!

Re: potential BM dresses
I'm using Macys Bridal, and they have it there...
It looks MUCH better on! It's actually beautiful! I am having four girls, and three of the four are very shapely women. Two of them came with me today to order them. One is a comfy size 12 and the other is more of a 14, but will probably be a 12 closer to the wedding... both beautiful women, but not necessarily petite, and it looked gorgeous on both of them. It flairs a bit toward the bottom which I think is also very flattering. More flattering than a pencil skirt bottom.
My MOH had been looking with me the whole time (she's the 12) and the other hadn't. She hated it in the picture, but didn't want to tell me that. Today when she tried it on, she loved it. Absolutely loved it. I don't think she expected that it would flatter her body... she's kind of short... 4ft 11inches, but now she loves it.
A lot of things sold me on this dress... 1 - The sash comes in a variety of colors, black being one of them which makes it MUCH easier to match shoes. 2 - It's not a super duper form fitting dress like some of the others, it flairs. 3 - It's Tea Length, but yet very elegant. So it's fitting for the occasion, but they can wear it again. 4 - Lastly, which they also appreciate very much, you can wear a normal bra with it!!!
All very important!
But yes... It looked great on and I tried it on myself with them, and I'm like a size 2 or 4 and it looked fabulous.

Re: potential BM dresses
misstene -- thanks so much for the info. I shared that photo awhile ago with my aunt, and she was not so sure about it. THe pose in the picture is awkward. I will def. have to look into having my girls try it on. Having been in a ton of weddings, I know how nice it is to have a dress you can wear regular undergarments with, and can wear again.
