Pound cake wedding cake???

Does anyone know a great bakery that will make a wonderful pound cake wedding cake? I had one at a wedding in PA and it was the best I've ever had (I usually HATE wedding cakes) but don't know where to find one on LI. I tried audrey's bakery but they don't do it and I wasn't really impressed with their sample cakes... (again, I'm NOT a wedding cake person so I'm sure they're great, just not my taste).

Any help would be SOOOOO appreciated!

You should try Leonetti's Bakery in Glen Cove. They are excellent and would probably make it for you!

Dortoni's Bakery In Levittown On hempstead Turnpike .. THAT PLACe IS AWESOme people come from Jersey to get cake there....

So funny, I read in one of the bridal magazines that a bride did a pound-cake wedding cake. So I took it to my family friend/baker that's making my cake (from upstate NY), and she's going to do it for me. She's nervous, hasn't done one before, and had us try out a recipe I liked. It came out delicious, I'm sure it will turn out great. We're having vanilla pound cake, with chocolate pudding filling and chocolate buttercream frosting- I cannot wait!! Good luck with your search!!

I had a taste of the pound cake wedding cake and it is awesome! sorry i dont have any info on who makes it though.
