POUT: Sorry, being a brat about my shower....

I just have to pout....
I am SO hard to surprise, but have been telling myself when it comes time for my shower, I will do my best to NOT peek at the registry and NOT suspect EVERYTHING about EVERYONE!

But I know MOST LIKELY the month of my shower. I was hoping for a TOTAL knock-my-socks-off surprise.

See, my MOH who is doing the majority of the planning of the shower is 5 mos preg, due in Dec. She has already told me she wants the baby's christening in May, when it's warmer out. So my shower most likely WON'T be in May, leaving it to MOST LIKELY be in April.

I know, I am being SUCH a brat right now!

the only way they can surprise you is if you STOP snooping!!!! otherwise you are bound to find out little things if you are looking for them. relax and go with the flow...and stay away from your registry!

Even if it is in April, you dont know the exact date or where the shower will be held. Im sure your MOH knows you pretty well and knows that you're a super duper snooper, therefore, she will def mislead you on this one.

I don't think my shower will be a surprise. My mom isnt too much into surprises, she says it too hard to keep it a secret

I am very hard to surprise as well. I did have to tell my BP a few things in regard to a shower. My nieces, are bridesmaids and children of divorce. The only thing I requested was that the MOH's confirm the weekends with my brother as to when he has visitation when they plan a shower. They would be heart broken if they missed it. I sent out a list of all BP members and my immediate family as well as my FMIL to each other so that none of them have to go around scrounging for numbers. They know I made a shower list that is ready to go when they need it. It may sound a little BRIDEZILLA-ish and controlling, but to be honest they are grateful that I did the leg-work for them in terms of acquiring addresses. Other than that, I really do not want to worry or think about it. I have enough on my mind.

I too provided my MOH with a list (at HER request...though I was SO going to anyway). I am also getting her (and the others in BP) all the #'s of the bridal party, as well, I am working on getting the guests phone #s!
