I'm sorry Karin. One of my friends from work also just told me she has breast cancer, it's so scary. How did your sister find out she had this heart problem?

she is a vascular technologist so she has access to ultrasound etc. At the doctor, they heard a bruee (sp?) also a murmur so she was sent for other testing. She has defective valves and flow reflux which will one day need open heart surgery, valve replacement and maybe worse

She had horrible side pains on Christmas and thought it was either her ovary or apendix. She was about to go to the hospital but it got better. She has ultrasounds done and they found cycts and fibroids on both ovaries and in her uterus. It kills me, I cant even imagine how scary it is for
her. I would give my heart, ovaries and uterus for her if she needed

also, we have heart issues in our family. My dad passed at 56 from a heart related issue and his father at 39 years old.

My Dad died at age 43, from Coronary Occlusion; He was skinny!!! I'm thinking, genetics, smoking, drinking a lot of beer, eating a lot of eggs, and stress helped contibute!! Mary MOB
