Prayers for my Dad-Updated

So I normally try to keep things inside, but since it is getting closer to the wedding, I am starting to get more emotional and hard to deal with at times.

My dad smoked for 56 years, stopped in 06, had major open heart surgery in 07.. Things have been 'egh' to say the least with his health (he's turning 74 this yr)....Some days hes better than others. So, all the doctors have said how great it is he stopped smoking, even though as a result he has partial emphysema and COPD...nothing more serious....until possibly now...

My mom called FH to tell me that dad went into hospital and admitted Friday, seems like after a CAT scat they found a tumor in one lung..
No diagnosis yet but if it turns out to be serious, they are unsure whether he would be ok for surgery or must undergo radiation...

So I'm just hoping everyone can keep him in your thoughts and prayers...just want my dad by my side as I get married.

Update: I want to thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. Test results came in yesterday for my dad and it was confirmed as lung cancer. Being that he already has reduced lung capacity he is not a candidate for surgery therefore he will begin Chemotherapy and radiation next week.
Please continue to keep him in your prayers, and hopefully he will respond well to treatment.
