Before my mother passed away from brain cancer, the woman from hospice told me that alot of times when patients say that, they are waiting to hear a response from their family member that it is ok, and that they understand that she doesn't wanna suffer annymore. They need to know that the family will be ok after they pass away, and not like they are letting the family down.
So, just try to be with her as much as you can.

This is so true. My FMIL recently passed away from uterine cancer. Our hospice nurse told us the same thing. They need to hear that it is ok for them to go.

Soooooooo very sorry to hear this. You and your aunt will definetly be in my prayers and if ever you need anything or to vent please let me know. It's wonderful that you have such an amazing opinion of your aunt and she is very lucky to have you. FM any time

the Lord will watch over her. trust His will for your aunt i'll definitely be keeping your family in my prayers.

My prayers go out to you and your family. It sounds like she's waiting for approval to become a heavenly angel. She knows she can watch over you better from heaven that what she can do now. It's hard, I know.
