Prayers needed more than ever.... FMIL update
The day I have dreaded has come- they told us that chemo is no longer going to work on my fmil's lung cancer- they said being optimistic- she can get 6 months- but that's being optimistic...they think its really a matter of weeks or months....
my FH is so down he cries 24/7 - he can barely work - I am so worried about him. I just spent a few days with her and it was so hard because you can tell that the end is comming.
Yesterday was my fh's birthday and we cooked him dinner and it was bittersweet b/c he knew that unless we have a miracle- she is not going to be around for anymore of his birthdays.
We cancelled our honeymoon so that he can take his 'vacation' time in a week or 2, to spend with his mother.
You never think this can happen to you. Right now, unfortunately- I don't see her making it to our wedding.
I know everyone warned me that the situation wasn't good- it's just that up until now her doctors were always so positive and told us that they could try so many things on her but now a different doctor told us that since the first few chemos were not effective-- her body has built up a resistance and it is close to impossible to get her well again-- unless we have some kind of miracle.
Please pray that God heals her and if he doesn't- i ask that he give us strength to get through this ordeal. It is truly a nightmare that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy....
How can I be happy and plan a wedding when his mother and my best friend is dying? How do I do this girls?
