My mom was at that shrine last week for th4e feast of St Gerard, and a lot of women who had prayed at the shrine before brought their babies! So..miracles Do happen! But hwo knows, your little miracle might be ethiopian!

Marymoon..thanks for saying that!!! I agree.I have a feeling my little miracle is Ethiopian!! When I went to the shrine yesterday..I just prayed that I will have a family and that when we adopt, our children are healthy and happy. I said prayers for everyone on here too!!! I do know that miracles happen, and the more I read about what goes on in Ethiopia..the more I know I need to get there and get my children. Those poor kids are literally malnourished..most have lost their parents in death due to famine, poverty and AIDS and they have a slim to none chance of having a healthy life if they dont get adoptedThe percents of them dying is HUGE. So not only will I be gaining wonderful family, but I will be literally saving lives as well. I am not sure if we will get approved to adopt two children, since we are currently renting..I dont know how that works..but If I can..I would love to adopt two siblings!!! I think I may start the homestudy process sooner. Our fertility Doc wants to do another IUI, I feel like its a waste of time..so Im thinking of starting the adoption process and if I happen to get pregnant in the meantime..I can have both..biological and adopted!!! I think I am really going to have the bog family Ive always wanted!!! YAHOOOOO

Alicia, best of luck with everything, no matter which way it goes. You will be a phenominal mother and it's so wonderful that you're so excited about adopting. I'm adopted and it's such a wonderful thing. So many people out there get pregnant and can't even care for their children, but children who are adopted are so well cared for because they're waited on and hoped for for so long.
