You're in my thoguths and prayers. This may not be what ou want o hear, but maybe adoption is part of the plan and what yu're supposed to do. I was adopted, and it's really great because my mom and I are best friends, and we ever look alike, and we just know she was 'meant' to adopt me. Best of luck with either path, just know that either one can be wonderful!

your in my prayers i wish both the best. but i think its amazing that you are willing to adopt. so many people i know are against i think the next best thing to bringing your own life into the world is loving and caring for an adopted child giving them the loving caring home that all children deserve

Gosh...THANK YOU to everyone!!! I hadnt been on here aqnd am just redaing all of your beautiful and thoughtful posts!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just spent the weekend at an adoption conference inNYC at ST, John's University..ironically enough I volunteered to help last april, before I even thought I would be adopting! I volunteered to help out..but anyhow..it was amazing! I learned alot, about adoptees, about birth parents and about adoptive parents. I know that if God thinks I'll be a great adoptive parent..then bring it on!!! I will love adopting!! At the same time, I learned that it's ok to be sad about not being able to conceive..and I'll get through it if that's what is planned for me. We will know alot more about the IUI this week and what's in store for us! Meanwhile...I cant thank you all enough for your hugs and support!!!! I mean it...it was such a good feeling to come on here and read your posts!!! truly made my day!!!!!

You sound like such an amazing person.
You are going to make an incredible mom no matter what!! Whether its adopting or concieving, you sound like you are in a very good place emotionally and are willing to take whatever comes in stride. Good Luck to you.

Thanks so much everyone!!! they did the IUI two days in a row..so now all I can do is just wait. I know it will be negative, it makes me sad, but Im ready to get on with it and start the adoption process. We are looking into Ethiopia or China for adoption..both countries have extremely beautiful children. Ill post again when things to start happeneing...Thank you though for all of your kind words and support!
