Prayers Please
I never thought I would do this but here it goes...
My cat is sick. It just came out of no where. Last week he was fine, then over the weekend he started getting even more tired and lazy than usual. He wouldn't get up to eat or drink at all, and sounded like he was breathing heavy. We thought he was just being moody, but it got worse, and he looked miserable. We've been bringing his food and water to him, because it's the only way he'll eat or drink. Even then he won't touch his food. He'll only eat treats or tuna, but even that not much at all, and he won't get up.
He's a house cat who's never been outside, so it can't be feline flu (only transmitted cat to cat). I don't know if it's a cold or not. He's obese, so I'm worried it's more than just a cold.
I just got home from work and there was a note from my parents, they're at the vet right now because his condition hasn't improved. I'm really scared. He's 10 years old, but that's still so young for a cat, and he's been healthy (besides being a little fat) and loved and well taken care of since we've had him. It was just such a sudden onset that I would be absolutely devestated if anything happened. Especially because I felt under the weather the past few weeks and he was sleeping on my bed at night, and even though I'm pretty sure that humans can't give colds to cats, my mother said that maybe he caught it from me, and in his older and weakened state, this might be my fault. They're not home yet, and I want to vomit right now.
I know it might seem trivial, especially since so many girls here are going through such tough times with actual humans, but I love my cat more than anything. I know one day it's inevitable, but it's just too soon for him.
Please pray for my sweet Angel kitty![]()
