Prayers Please - Dad's in the Hospital

My dad was just admitted to Glen Cove Hospital with fluid around his heart. Thank God they got it in time, I'm just bummed. FH is trying to be supportive by saying if need be, we'll just postpone the wedding. That's one of the last things I want to hear right now. I'm trusting God that my dad will be fine. I just need a little support. TIA!!

If it's any comfort at all to you.....I am a paramedic and you can feel free to FM me with any medical questions you may have. I assume he was diagnosed with CHF (congestive heart failure--AKA...fluid around his heart and in his lungs?)......if so, the fact that he is at the hospital and being treated should definitely set your mind at ease a bit. It's a condition relatively easily controlled with the proper medications and treatment. And hopefully, he will be released as soon as they drain the fluid out. Good luck!!!

I hope he is ok and he's still got a while to recouperate.. Try to focus on him and not stress about the wedding..

You have plenty of time. I am sure your father will be GREAT and like new in no time. My dad had Quadruple Bi-Pass last december and he is like a kid again!!
