My mom just called to tell me that my dad was laid off today effective immediately. He's only been working at this place about a year and it took awhile for him to find this job. Please say a quick prayer if you get a chance. My mom is in a panic and I know that part of it is that she's worried about paying for my shower now. Luckily FH and I are paying for the wedding ourselves so they don't have that financial stress, but I know she's worried. Thanks girls...I really appreciate any positive thoughts you can send my family's way!

sorry to hear about your dad. . sending wishes that he gets a better job soon! when one door closes. .. know that is only mildly helpful in the meantime but glad you are there for your folks!
