Prayers please...sorry this is a bit long **UPDATE**

Original post by JoesFutureWife

**UPDATE** Ladies, i cant thank you enough for your well wishes, thoughts and prayers. They have worked once again! My fathers surgery was a complete success and he is feeling so much better. It's like a massive weight has been lifted. Thank you all again so much for everything!!

It seems like every few months i have to post one of these. Once again it is in reference to my dad. Tonight he was out picking up ice cream from friendlys, which is something we never really have anymore, he didnt have his cell and next thing we know we get a call from him from a ladys cell (who was an angel for offering for him to use her phone) that he was having heart racing and chest pains. We flew over to friendlys and i called an ambulance which was there in 2 minutes flat. It was so bad this time. They almost had to use the paddles to get his heart rate back on track. Tomorrow they are doing a procedure where they will have to go into his heart to fix the 'electrical wiring' as the cardiologist put it. He has fantastic doctors working on him but it is still scary all the same. I have to be at work in 6.5 hrs and teach tomorrow. I really dont know how im going to get thru the day. I am leaving at 2 tomorrow so im hoping i make it in time for the procedure (they said mid to late afternoon). Unfortunately because i just started this job, i cannot take off. I literally dont have a # to call to call in. Please pray for my dad. He is the best father i could have ever asked for. ty

All I have to say is, I hope your dad is not having any procedures done at St. Catherine of Sienna. My dad had a mild stroke last December 15. They said it was like a 'warning.' He was in the hospital for a few days, they ran some test ekg's but not all. He came home, spent Christmas with us and then my mom and I found him dead in our house on Dece, ber 27, 2006. The hospital told us he was going to make a full recovery and going to be fine. You explain this one to me..I am still searching for answers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
