Don't be nervous... my Pre-cana was set up the same way... we finished in November. Everyone was so nice and the couple that ran it was sooo sweet. We really enjoyed it. they don't set it up in a way that will make you uncomfortable.... any topic that may get too personal, they separate you from the other couples to talk, but mainly, it's just sharing things as a group.

As long as you have your date and time for your actually ceremony or Mass, i wouldn't worry. basically, if you're doing Pre-cana through your parish you don't get to choose the section you go to or when. most parishes run 2-3 pre-cana sessions a year... i.e. a winter, spring and fall session. so for summer weddings, they group all those people together and split them into groups... their Pre-Cana would be in the late winter or spring. most parishes will NOT do Pre-cana more than a year in advance.. most do it at the 6-months before mark or slightly after.
My Pre-Cana was October-November 2006 ofr a february 2007 wedding. they will contact you about pre-cana and the couple running should contact you re: the final schedule. don't stress....

Re: Pre-Cana
My priest recommended that we sign up for the next one...and we arent getting married until march. He also doesnt coordinate it so maybe that idea changes once I speak to the main contact person.

We had the same peoblem. Just keep calling. And eventually they will get tired of you calling and have you come in.
I still have to schedule our Pre-cana. We have plenty of time. But we want to get it over with sooner.

Re: Pre-Cana
The first time I went to my church to reserve the date they laughed at me when I said 2008. They don't recommend coming in to see them until 6 months before. I told them, oh well, I'm not a last minute kind of bride. I want everything taken care of asap.
