I never knew pre-cana was $175!!! and for the over night it's $300!!!! Our decon never told us this. and I just looked at there site and it says all that. WOW!!! one more added expense. Just thought I would share.
Hmmm they should've told you...When we took an application from the church, they gave us a price list
In my church my understanding is that you give a 500 dollar donation and that covers the cost of pre cana... hope im not wrong.

I just did my first Pre Cana session on sunday night and it was only $50 .... i guess every church is different .. i have no idea how much the 'donation' actually is ... but the pre cana is only 6 weeks long once a week

Our church is $450 and then the pre-cana is an extra cost. it is paid to the Diosese (SP?). not the church. Denise what church are you having it at?

i think we only have to go in like 2 or 3 x...but i do know it is different from church to church
Oh I know that church. Where are you doing your Pre-cana? Were going to the one in Douglaston.
the session actually isnt so bad it's kinda interesting ...but i was suprised that all the couples lived together and the church sugessted that we do the same .. one girl was even preggers
Wow they suggested you live together? I always though they were against people living together before marriage. I guess the times are changing.
so did i .. i was shocked...but they also told us that 50 % of all marriages end before the 5 yr anniversary
you guys are already doing pre-cana? How early did they say you can do that? My church still wont even let me book it until 1 year before the wedding and I have ecerything else booked!
they told me i can do it whenever we wanted so i wanted to get it out of the way ..we are the only 08ers in our class

Were doing our this fall/winter. FH has school until August so we can't do it any time now. They said to do it when every you can. The sooner the better.
For the music, and the church it's $400!!!!.......Just one more fee.....
