Pre-Cana

Do you really have to take pre-cana at least 3 months before your wedding date? I'm trying to figure out when I can go and all the dates I am free are in late April and early May...

It doesn't matter when you take it. I am getting married in Sept. and we are taking it at the end of this month. We are going to Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa they have 1 day sessions once a month.

Does it matter if you belong to that church or not?

I don't think it matters just as long as you take it before you get married...I am going to Pre-Cana 3/3 in a one day session.

I don't think it matters when you take it. We went in September and are getting married next month. The rest of the couples in our group were all getting married months after us.

No...we are taking it right now and we are getting married in 39 days

The church kept bumping us because other people had to get it in! They really didn't care when anyone took it!

i haven't heard of requirements either. we're going on 3/3 for a full day pre-cana and that's all that's required...
