I signed up for the Pre cana class at my Church. It's a one day affair, (thank goodness) but it's from 9am -6pm!! 9-6 seems like a long day and they even tell us to bring lunch! LOL Has anyone done this yet and what can we expect?

Re: Pre Cana
We just completed our Pre-Cana over two nights. It was actually a lot of fun. They go over four topics, communication, spirituality, morality and sexuality. We enjoyed it, if you have a cool couple it should be fun.

Re: Pre Cana
We finished our a couple months ago, we did it over weeks but really enjoyed it. We had the option of doing the one day but they gave us our meal.

Re: Pre Cana
We did a Friday night 7-10 and a Saturday 9-5 followed by mass. It was pretty long but a lot better than we thought. If you have a good host couple its fun.

Re: Pre Cana
I still haven't done mine, but I was wondering what it cost everyone. Did any of you do it with the RVC diocese or in the Brooklyn/Queens diocese?

yeah, nothing like discussing sex with complete strangers while sitting in a convent
good grief I'm glad that part was short!
We had a 2 day pre-cana, which ran approx 9-5 on day one, and 8-2 on day 2.....

FH & I just went to our 1 day pre cana session today at our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa. Its very interesting. You aren't put on the spot at all. You will really enjoy it. At the end you go to mass. Good Luck.
