Pre-Cana

Ummm...
no one told me there was a fee????

have any of you had to pay this fee? if so can you tell me how much? is it the same everywhere?

It will probably depend on the parish. If we had been able to do our in-house pre-cana, it would've been no extra cost to us. However, bc of my DH's work schedule we had to do it through the Diocese, which cost us $250 (back in winter of 08).

i dont think my parish does pre-cana they referred me to the diocese.. they want $195..

Nothing is free in the Church, or for weddings at all for that matter!

I paid $195 for PreCana.

My parish was $35 and it's deducted from the fee for the church. They ask for it at pre-cana because it pays for the 'graduation' party. After our last meeting (which was a mass) we went into the church basement and they had sandwiches and salads and snacks for us. It was a nice way to end.
