Re: Pre Cana
Yupp, they definitely have weekend retreats. Apparently weekend retreats are held at Bishop Molloy Retreat House in Jamaica Estates. You can find out more info here or here. HTH!

us too! what weekend are you on? we're dec 12 and 13th.
I WISH we could have done something fun like a retreat or something from license to wed. I think we just sit around and listen to married couples tell their stories.

Re: Pre Cana
We are doing pre cana at Our Lady of Lourdes in Massapequa - it is only one Saturday. We are booked in February. I believe you can just call the rectory directly.

We did ours at St Joes in Babylon, it was one Saturday, very reasonably priced (as far as what I've heard other people paying) and really not bad at all.

Re: Pre Cana
The one my priest said we should go to is a friday night for 2 hours and then saturday all day. they include breakfast and lunch. but it costs $195
they also offer weekend retreats.
check out pre-cana.org, someone else above mentioned it too. i was actually on that website before looking things up. we were supposed to sign up for either the october session or november. but we procrastinated.... you should be able to find a class that works with your schedule. good luck!
