Where did you girls go for your pre-cana?? And how often did it meet and for how long?
I'm especially interested in girls who did a 'weekend' or overnight session and got it over with. Where did you find it or go for it?? I just got a call about the next session of pre-cana with my church and it sounds like they only offer month long classes one night a week.. I wanted something faster

Re: Pre-cana
We just registered for pre-cana today.
We'll be meeting every Tuesday night from 7p-9p at St. Jean Baptiste School Hall in Manhattan (so 4 classes in January). I didn't want to have to take off from work on the weekends so that's why we chose the 4 shorter classes.

I'm getting married there too! Not doing ours until February though. When you did FOCCUS, did you have to call to go over your results or do they contact you?

We took the FOCCUS test this past saturday and they said to call in 2 weeks to get our results and then they would tell us if we need to set up an apt or not

Re: Pre-cana
We did ours through the church, St Rose of Lima in Massapequa. We met at the church with our group just to set up the dates. The next three sessions were at the couple's house for two hours each time. We were only there for the full two hours the second time. Then there was a Reception/Mass, which we skipped since they said it wasn't mandatory.
