Pre cana

When should someone go for pre cana? Im getting married in October, should i call the church now and ask when it is or is it to early to worry about that right now?

We took pre-cana this past October for our July wedding.

my wedding is in november, and i'm going to be doing the next session at my church which is in april. They should call you when they start the next session. You can def call them though, they will have some info

our church sent us a letter telling us when the pre-cana weekends were..we needed to pick one before our wedding date. we did it last month for our June wedding

Call NOW! I'm getting married in August and im getting told there are no classes until after my wedding. i'm freaking out a little bit.

Does your church have pre-cana classes there? Mine didn't so I set it up for March via the internet.

We are getting married in June and doing PreCana in 2 weeks. It is a weekend session.

We signed up in September for it

We're getting married in August and we finished pre cana in October. The sooner you get it over, I think the better!

Foccus is a test they make you and your FH take separately. You bubble in the answers agree, disagree, or uncertain. FH & I took it and when we met with the couple to discuss our answers, they were shocked we had gotten so many categories 100% accurate with each other. I told them, 'Could it be that we've known each other for 7 years?!'

I was crazy I took my pre cana in Oct of 2009 because we wanted it out of the way... the church suggests you do this at least before the 3 month mark.

not in my church you have to take two separate things..all i heard was focus was fun and that its a test you take about yourself and they mess it with FH test to see where you might have problems

Our FOCCUS is included in our Pre-Cana (maybe that is why the diocese weekend ones are more expensive? I know that FOCCUS can be like $100 on top of the Pre Cana costs).

One weekend and done (even if it did cost $300)

We are getting married in September, and we have pre-cana scheduled for the end of April. The lady I spoke with at the DRC was very nice, and seemed accommodating. If you go on the DRC website, there is a list of available dates for FOCCUS, you should check it out!

Im in pre-cana now and pretty much all of the other couples that are with us are getting married in october and november so i would call and find out when they have available dates
