Our church doesn't do focus but we are doing precana in Feb at another church st patricks in bay shore

Yes I called a few months ago. My church offers it i think only 3times a year. I would call them as soon as possible. We started our class this past Friday night & our wedding is in September.

It is never too earlu def sign up soon and get it over with. Fh and I did it last feb 2010 for nov 2011 wedding.

You should find out the dates asap. You have plenty of time but depending on what type of pre-cana you want to take, its offered at different times during the year.
For example, the Engaged Encounter for the Brooklyn Diocese is going to be offered in February, June and then September (I think). Sept is cutting it too close for my taste (the fall will be a busy time for me!), and FH goes away to teach a course in June for like 2 weeks, so we're just doing it next month. Better to keep your options open than to be forced into one particular date.

I did mine last July only because the next one would be held this July and the priest thought that would be too soon to the wedding date. Now is probably a good time to call to see when you can take part.
