I was wondering if the brides that recently completed pre-cana could share if they needed to bring anything or how much it cost. My FH and I will be attending this weekend at St. Pat's in Bay Shore. Nothing like waiting to the last minute to ask this

Pre-cana

It may vary from church to church, but it was $75. FH and I actually still haven't paid. The priest never really asked. For actual pre Cana we didn't have to bring anything else. You will need proof of receiving your other sacraments before the wedding though.

When do they let you know how much it is? Nothing was mentioned today or before today.

FH asked when he called to sign up. They really never asked us for the money actually. We never paid lol. We'll give it after mass one day.

I have to say that St.Patrick's Church in Bay Shore has a great precana program. They were not judgemental, the couples that were running it were a mix of young and older. It was a very fresh perspective. I think the price is factored into the donation because money was not discussed. I highly recommend their precana program!
