My fiance and I are starting precana this Sunday and I'm kind of anxious! We did the FOCCUS questionaire online but I dont know what to expect! Anybody finish precana recently? Tips?

We did ours last year. Did it through my church at a local home and it was us and 2 other couples. Was very nervous starting worrying I would say the wrong answer. However, my experience was nothing like that at all. Between the 3 couples we were all very different, and it all worked out. Just try to be honest. We had 4 sessions- money, family, starting a family and beliefs. Most nights we filled out questionnaires separately and then shared answers to see what we agreed on and what we still needed to discuss.

My FI and I began Pre Cana last week, and it was not what we expected. We heard stories from other friends/families who said they enjoyed going through it and feel it really helped them. Unfortunately, we are with a host couple who is very elderly and very out of touch with how things are now. The couple is very nice and sweet, but they were married over 60 years ago. They were telling us how the man should work and the woman should stay home to raise children. It was not what we expected and we have to go back three more times. The other couples we are with seemed nice, but no one really shared that much.
