sooo just called my church and pre cana starts march 15 i am so nervous! but kind of excited bc i hope it helps us to learn more about each other! it is 6 THursdays from 8 to 10.
of course that was the day my e pics were scheduled so i had to change them to march 13 - sooo excited, cant wait to take them!

We are doing pre-cana, but the it is not til March '08. I guess each church is different. I kinda wanted to have it sooner, but that is when the church scheduled us for.

Honestly, i have no desire to do it and think it is silly. FH and I communicate about everything and he is a Psychologist... haha... he knows all about marriage counseling and etc.. haha
my FH doesnt talk EVER so i think this may be good for us! plus i want to share my faith with him and i hope he learns more about what is important to me - he is also catholic but doesnt really practice!

honestly, all my friends would probably be surprised to hear that i am excited to go bc at first i was SO ANNOYED about it and even now i am kind of annoyed about giving up my time but i have heard great things about it on here so i am trying to be SUPER positive about it and try to get something from it - instead of dreading it i am trying to act like i wanted to do it all along - trying to psych ( sp?) myself up kinda!
trust me, if it was optional i wouldnt be there lol

i did pre- cana it was ok , i got alot from it FH hated it. but we did learn alot about how to communicate and appreciate each other
i have a feeling that I will be saying the same thing in a few weeks - he already hates it and is dreading it. . . he complains about it on a daily basis and one of his first demands was he wanted to get married at JT instead of a church BUT i told him that was unacceptable! anywho - he will be miserable but what can i do?!

ok i will answer a few questions in one post:
*Pre cana is pre marital counseling that is mandatory if you want to get married in a catholic church
*We didnt do the all day one bc it was kind of important for me to meet the new priest in our parish - he will probably marry me and i kind of want him to know me AND this one is only $50
* I am taking my eng pics in a studio bc its more of a mini shoot really since FH didnt want e pics. . .

Oooo how exciting...You definitely are ahead of the game lol, i need to get a move on lol.
But thanks for reminding me, i found out my church doesn't do pre-cana we have to go to another church so have to find out their schedule...ALso, I am doing my e-pics sometime in May, MAYBE april...when it gets closer to May we will all decide
