Pre Cana Check!

Yay! We are signed up & placed to start Pre Cana!
I'm looking forward to getting it out of the way early! We start at the end of March!

I should have done that, but I postponed until the Fall. Ugh!

We wanted to do it in December, but the couples who were running out of time before their wedding (obviously) got placed before us.... I guess I must have nagged them enough to be able to do it in March

I tried to start it early but my church said we cant start it until 6 months before the wedding. I wonder why... But congrats to you !!!

Our priest told us the same thing so we signed up for one in Oct. I just want to take it now and get it done with

Nice!!!! I finished mine and its a big weight off my shoulders and one less thing to worry about!@

Yup! That's exactly why I want it over and done with! It's a pretty big, important check, IMO!

Yea its great and im so happy my church is easy going and they just want u to get things over and done with ...i love my church lol

Just got all of my pre cana/church info in the mail and OOF! Wow, church weddings are expensive. To get married in the church our 'contribution' is close to $1,000 and then pre cana is $150. Nothing is cheap apparently.... haha


On a positive note I DID get my LIW Tshirt, car air fresheners AND Diamond card in the mail today as well!!!

When did they tell you about the pre cana cost? Our priest never told us, and they didn't say anything when we registered.

I didn't know what the cost would be until my priest's secretary had emailed me about 2 days ago confirming my home address because they were sending all of the info out. Got it today and there is a letter from the priest explaining what we will be doing at the first meeting and to complete registration we need to fill out an application & return it with the $150 check. Once that is sent back they will contact us with a password and log-in info for the FOCCUS pre-marriage inventory that we have to do at home and then at the first meeting that is when we will find out the results.

hmmm... see we have to go next weekend for FOCCUS at the church. I really hope we don't have to pay for pre cana. ugh.

Well unfortunately I'd think you would have to.... I'm pretty sure everyone pays for pre-cana haha
