Pre-Cana experience

Ours was a good experience too. We had to go for a total of 5 weeks (3 at the presenting couples' home, 1 at the church and 1 at the chapel) which got a little tedious but overall, it wasn't so bad. We actually bonded with two of the other couples that were there and we're all going to try and go to each others' weddings.

I liked that our pre-cana group was small - 2 presenting couples and 5 engaged couples. I think I got more out of it that way.

Ours was similar to this. We had five engaged couples, and on hosting couple. We went to their house for 4 weeks, and had a dinner at the church with all of our families the last week. We really enjoyed it. It really opened our eyes as to what marriage is, I think everyone should have some form of Pre-Cana.

Has anyone gone to one in Queens? I'm doing the Friday night all day Saturday in May, just wondering how it is there.

FH and I did pre-cana in Douglaston a few weeks ago on a Fri and Sat and it was actually really good. It wasn't bad at all and they let us out early on Saturday!

I feel the same way! FH and I were so annoyed about having to go at first, but in the end we really enjoyed the experience. I loved the letter part too! I wanted to frame them but FH said its for our eyes only. When I read his, it made me cry.
