PRE CANA HELP

PRE CANA HELP

Hi all,

I am just looking for information on pre cana. I an not a practicing catholic and he is protestant and i was just wondering what you have to do for pre cana and what they go over in the classes. My Fiance is doing this for me and I know that he has a short fuse when it comes to religion and I just want to see what I am getting into. I have heard so many differnt things from people like they ask you about your sex life and that they look to start fights between you.

If someone could just help me out i would appreciate it.

Try to go to the Saturday class offered by the Diocese of Brooklyn. Basically, you sit and listen, listen, listen all day and have a few breakout sessions in which you and FH discuss your answers to a some questions.

You don't have to talk to anyone other than your FH at this class. However, being quiet, attentive and patient during the class is really important to getting through the day.

We did the same thing at the Immaculate Conception center in Douglaston. It really was not bad at all. I may still have my book at home. Let me know if you need the info and I'll try to scrounge it up.
