Pre-Cana in Imacculate Conception Douglaston

Has anyone done the Friday and Saturday pre-cana there? What was it like?

sat was great, although early. And friday was SUPER boring!!

They have good lunch food too. I'd go there again. Oh and the seats for the sat one are AWFUL!! But i hear they all are.

I did.....it was fine. Friday night is a prayer service and then you write a letter to your future spouce which you save in an envelope.

Saturday, you work with a couple and do lots of activities from a workbook- like worksheets with questions which you and your FH will discuss. You watch a video on natural family planning....everything but that was fun.

We went in May and lvoed it. Like Kerri said Friday night was a little boring but we loved the FH and my communication parts on Saturday.

OK so I shouldn't be scared that they'll put everyone on the spot and ask them questions about premarital sex, using contraceptives (even after your married), etc.?
