It's a donation. They can't charge for counseling unless they are registered counselors.
Well they seem to think it's a 'mandatory donation'

No, it depends on where/when you're taking it. I just signed up for a free one thanks to the lovely ladies on here... but the 2 day Pre Cana in Uniondale (don't even know where that is) was run by the Diocese, who rips you off aparently...
Don't worry, if you paid 75 then that's how much it costs!

It's supposed to prepare you for marriage.... I dunno, some people love it, others hate it.... it prob depends on who runs it and on how much you want to get out of it- I really think it should be free or optional
