Does anyone know of anywhere in Nassau that does pre-cana in a weekend, preferably not a place that you stay over? Neither FH or I has a set schedule where we would be able to dedicate the same night every week for a 6 week period, so we need to get it done in one go....

we live in philly, but are getting married in greenlawn, so we're doing the 2 day one in hempstead. its not the sleepover one.

I am getting married at Sacred Heart in Island Park and we have precana this weekend and it is just Sat. and Sunday (I think a total of 5 hours)

Contact the Diocese of Rockville Centre (all the parishes in Nassau and Suffolk). www.drvc.org
The Diocese runs several weekend retreats, Engaged Encouters, etc. that meet the Pre-Cana requirement. Also, when I met with my priest to schedule our time, he gave us the Diocesan scheduel of weekends if we didnt' want to do it through the parish (which is the 6 different nights)

I just spoke with the people at my church because the weekends are the only doable option for us...they told us to call the Diocese as well.
