Pre Cana...a big big big check!

Hallelujah!
Literally.........

I thnk I'm one of the few who thought it was really painful..Thursday night was great because the presenter was charismatic and relatable. FH and I walked out on Thursday excited for the 9 hour session saturday.

First off let me preface by saying that I have THE WORST COLD so I was on total cold meds and at the height of misery, all I wanted was my couch. Alli I couldn't find you it would have been nice to meet though!
The presenters were nice but very hard to relate to. As I looked around the room people were falling asleep, it was hilarious!
Then they showed us a video and everyone burst out laughing when it was over.
BUT....FH and I walked out of there laughing, so in a way it did bring us closer...
I got home and passed out at 7:30. This cold is kicking my butt!

I think pre cana is all about the presenters, we wish we had our Thursday night guy instead.

PS we did really good on our FOCUS! LOL One of the facilitators looked at our results and was like..........'Wow..' and literally got up to go to another couple after like 30 seconds!

I agree...it was the worst. I feel like the couple that ran it was the problem. The only highlight was the fact FH & I got to come late because we did Foccus at our church so we slept in.

I couldn't wait to get out of there and get a glass of wine

OMG so glad we weren't the only ones! How hilarious was the guy that came after lunch?
I was wishing that I could have recorded him.

The whole day was like being in a Saturday Night Live episode..

And I must say I got more out of church from 5-6 than the rest of the day.

But yayyyy we're done!

I was not a fan of the priest. He kinda gave me the feeling of a TV one. But I guess Im a little old school when it comes to how I like mass. and by that point I was watching the clock...FH was twitching in his seat cause his ADD was in full force by then

It all depends on the facilitators that you get. We were lucky and our group couple was great so it wasn't bad. At least it's over!!!! Congrats!!!! Feel better sweetie!

FH and I just finished a 2 Saturday precana session. The first was pretty bad... a couple with six kids was preaching to us about natural family planning. Yeahhhh we really want their advice

This last session was so much better. The couples who were the instructors were much more normal! Soooo glad its over and we left with the certificate in hand

One more thing for us to check off the list...congrats
