...If you ladies had to pay for pre-marital counseling would you do it, especially if you feel that you need it? We are not getting married in a church and want to do counseling so we have to pay $100 bucks for it. The theraphy is oneon one and each session is $100.

Re: Pre-Marital Counseling...
If you feel that you need it, then definitely do it. In the end, what's another $100 compared to a wedding at $30K+++?
For peace of mind, do it.

Re: Pre-Marital Counseling...
I would. We paid $100 for our pre-cana (like pre-marital counseling, just not so much 1 on 1) and feel that it was worth it. Even if you get along great, there are issues that you may need to discuss that you have not thought of that a professional can help with.

Re: Pre-Marital Counseling...
If you feel you need it, $100 is pennies in the grand scheme of wedding costs!
We paid more than that for pre-cana and I felt it was a valuable experience (not worth $155 but, valuable).

I would definitely do it. Most precana classes are more than that. If you feel you need it, I'd say go for it. Def. money well spent.

i think it is worth it- even if you dont think you need it. i didnt go to counceling, but i went to pre-cana and FOCCUS and that really helped us to learn how to communicate better etc.
